Two nicknames have stuck: Shar and Sunshine. Over the years, my closest family and friends have shortened my full name, Sharon, to Shar <pronounced Share or Cher if you are fancy>. It kind of gives me that warm and fuzzy feeling when I hear it or see it in writing; it feels special. Sunshine was given to me by my aunt and uncle. In the winter they call me Snowflake and when Spring arrives and the weather warms up, they switch to Sunshine. Even now, over the age of 40, it makes me happy to hear it. When it was time to give my site an identity, SharSunshine seemed fitting. It is a little piece of me that I am sharing with you and a cutesy enough play on words that it kinda works. #sharsunshine #trysomethingnew
